Big changes are underway at The Urban Dog as I transition from in-person teaching to focus on my research career at Aberystwyth University.
You can still train with me through the online Urban Freestyle or Cooperative Care courses.
Membership classes
Are you interested in doing more with your dog? To tire out your dog in a more productive way?
Dogs are happier and healthier when active, using their body and senses. When you give your dog a sense of purpose, a job, an opportunity to problem solve and work their instincts they don’t need to find it in inconvenient situations often showing up as behaviour problems.
Through these activities you will spend quality time, explore and learn new things while bond with your dog. Enjoy the company of like minded people, make more dog friends, improve, progress your skills, have accomplishments and even compete if that is your thing!
The Sports & Activity classes held in our Ide or Kentisbeare venues, weekly or monthly, and you can secure your place with a membership. Being a member you can also participate on our fun pop-up sessions and events.

From Our Students
We’re so glad we’ve found Eszter. She provides a safe, fun environment for dogs to enjoy learning among other dogs. Our 2 year old black Lab Shadow loves coming to class.
